Organic Chamomile (Matricaria Recutita L.)
Chamomile commonly known as German chamomile, belongs to the daisy family and the flowers have a characteristic herbaceous fragrance. Chamomile originated in Europe and West Asia since the ancient times.  It has been highly valued by the Egyptians, Romans, and Greeks for its medicinal properties. The Egyptians considered the plant sacred and believed it was a gift from the God of the Sun.

Chamomile is an important medicinal and aromatic plant.  It is known to reduce anxiety and promote relaxation.  It also possesses antimicrobial and antioxidant properties that naturally soothes common seasonal allergy symptoms.  When applied topically, chamomile oil helps relieve skin irritations and sensitivities and serves as a natural allergy reliever.  

Main Chemical Properties:

Chamomile contains a large group of therapeutically active compound classes of Sesquiterpenes, flavonoids, coumarins, and polyacetylenes. 

It also contains more than 120 secondary chemical constituents including 28 terpenoids, 36 flavonoids and 52 additional compounds with therapeutic activity
